Kelly, CVA I

Kelly is a Dallas native and she studied accounting at Brookhaven and Eastfield colleges. She is the senior member of the JRPH team as she worked with Dr. Esmond prior to the opening of the clinic in 1991. She is the manager of bookkeeping, accounting and payroll, but she also steps in to assist when needed in all areas of JRPH. She has been married for 19 years to her husband, Robert, and she has a 12-year-old daughter Taylor Marie. She has quite a menagerie at home: 2 dogs, Rose and Morgan, 2 cats, Bailey and Shadow, 3 hamsters and numerous fish. In her spare time she enjoys volunteering at Taylor 's school. Kelly enjoys cruises, gardening, boating with her family and reading.

Tina, CVA II

Tina was born in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin and grew up in New Jersey. She also lived in Norfolk, VA and Santa Fe, NM before settling in the Dallas area in 1995. She has been a veterinary technician for 14 years and has worked at JRPH since 1996.

She has been married for 14 years and has a daughter, Kaitlyn. Her family also includes two cats, Fuzz and Shelby and a Labrador retriever, Charlie and Sunnie a Chihuahua. In her spare time Tina enjoys boating, reading, movies and activities with Kaitlyn.

Melissa, CVA I

Melissa was born in Memphis, Tennessee and moved to Atlanta, Georgia when she was six years old. As a child she enjoyed basketball, singing and playing the piano. After graduating from high school 1984, she attended Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma and earned her B.A. in early childhood education. She moved to Dallas in 1993 and worked in the fashion industry for five years. She joined the staff at JRPH in 1998 as a receptionist. She shares her home with three cats, Carson, Isaac and Indy. Her pastimes include reading, sports, movies, decorating, singing, pet sitting and spending time with her friends.

Nan, CVA I

Nan was born in Manitowoc , WI . She has a marketing degree from Madison Area Technical College . She moved to Dallas in 1979 to work for Neiman Marcus as a department manager. In 1984 she became an account manager with Godiva Chocolatier and was with them for 18 years. In 2002 she elected a career change into the veterinary field. She joined JRPH in December 2004 as a receptionist.

She and her husband Scott were married in January 2001. They have 3 dogs, “Fox” a Jack Russell Terrier, “Bailey” a Golden Retriever, and “Gracie” a Golden mix.   In her spare time she enjoys gardening and spending time with her family and friends.

Hope, CVA I

Hope was born and raised on a farm in rural Rolla, Missouri. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Anthropology. Upon graduation in 2003, she moved to Dallas where she met her husband, Mathew. Hope and Mat have been married since 2005 and have a son who was born in November of 2007. They also have 4 cats, 1 dog and multiple fish. Hope as worked as an animal care specialist for 4 years at Petco and has been in the Veterinary medicine field for a year. She enjoys traveling, snorkeling, salt water aquariums and camping.

Debbie

Debbie was born in Denton, TX and raised in Lewisville. She first started working as a receptionist at a veterinary hospital in Argyle, TX until moving to a clinic in Lewisville. She is now proud to say she works at Josey Ranch Pet Hospital. Her love for animals has brought her to working in this profession. She has two dogs: a 1-year old Rottweiler, “Prue “, and a 2-year old Red-Heeler, “Bruiser.” In her spare time she enjoys camping, riding her 4-wheeler at Murray Lake, and watching action and/or comedy movies with her fiancée, Travis.
